TABLE TENNIS
February 23rd 2009-TISAC Table Tennis Tournament

ON NUT – The 2009 TISAC Table Tennis Championships were held this past Monday, hosted by Wells International School’s On Nut Campus.

After an afternoon of hard-fought games, the host Seahawks from Wells came out on top in the Primary Division. With a total of 10 points, the team of Akhil, Toby, Andy, and Po Shun “Andy” Hsu edged out runner-up Kessinee International School with 9 points, for the overall team trophy. Also competing was the team from Charter International School, earning 3 total points. As individuals, Wells players took home two of the three medals. Toby (Wells) swept the top KIS player, Trevor, 2-0 to win the gold, while Andy Hsu, also from Wells, beat Na from KIS to win the bronze. Trevor won the silver medal for his efforts.

In the Secondary Division, it was the Lions of Bangkok Christian International School that roared to a decisive victory, garnering 21 points to take home the team championship trophy. Wells International School, the other team in the division, managed to earn 13 points.
