![]() Welcome to the Thailand International Schools Activity Conference website... The purpose of TISAC is to provide a well-rounded program of trans-disciplinary activities for member schools. To provide guidelines that will achieve recognized educational objectives and provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their talents in a fair and enjoyable manner. Students will have the opportunity to meet other children from international schools across Bangkok and share their experiences.

November 18th 2008-TISAC Chess Tournament
It was the first Chess tournament ever held by TISAC @ KIS International School. The children were quite nervous when they came in to the school. Who were they up against how would they do? There were 5 schools, Bangkok Prep, St. Andrews, St. Stevens, Wells and of course KIS. All students got assigned a number, a table and an opponent. They had to write down their moves and keep track of their playing time as they each had 12 minutes to play. As it was a first for everybody nobody knew what they were up against. But this made it fun and sportive for everybody. The children showed good sportsmanship and were able to discuss matters after their games. Susi who was the only female participator said she could not stop laughing even though she had just won one game. We ended up with no real losers or winners but we ended up having fun and everybody ended up playing 4 games. At the end they all asked when the next tournament would be and where..... BASKETBALL
